Wild Goose Events is a band of brothers convinced that the only way to live a meaningful life is to follow God. This means we listen for God's voice and go where he leads. We believe that when we seek God, we will find him. And we have seen that when people call out to God, he speaks. That's why the team at Wild Goose is all about hosting events where men can take a few days to step away from the everyday and focus on hearing from God. We've been touched by the ministry of Ransomed Heart and the Boot Camps we've attended, so we aim to bring a similar experience to the Northeast.
So why do we call it a Boot Camp? We don't do pushups or early morning runs...but we're not retreating from anything, so it doesn't seem right to say we're leading a retreat. We call it a Boot Camp because the time we spend with God at these events primes us to fight the battles that face us in our everyday lives. At our Boot Camps we expect God to give a man back his heart, show him his place in the battle, and begin to teach him how to live well.
